It's no secret to anyone who knows me that Chuck Klosterman is my favorite literary journalist of the 21st Century. He has written three books; Fargo Rock City, Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs and his latest Killing Yourself to Live. I have read all three and I always look to them for inspiration when writing any journalistic essay. I read Klosterman's monthly column in Spin every chance I get. He gives great rants into the hipster underworld, and his ramblings hold significance in my daily life. I was saddened to hear that he has left Spin magazine because his editor has been fired. Klosterman's absence from Spin could cost the magazine thousands of readers who have always looked to him for insight on the latest trends in music. His last piece can be seen in the April issue of Spin, in which he uses Guns 'n' Roses new album as a hilarious April fools joke. Chances are, I won't pick up Spin magazine again.
